All members are invited to participate in any of the exchanges. The Scrap Exchange Group trades completed "blocks" constructed with specific guidelines. The Scrap Exchange Group is open to all members and meets every three months at 5:30pm at the church prior to the Guild Meeting. Blocks are due one week prior to the meeting so that they can be divided and returned at the meeting. Blocks can be turned in to the Scrap Exchange Committee Chair or dropped off at the Scrap Exchange Drawer at Fabrics Etc. Any scrap exchange member can propose a pattern design which is then voted on by the entire group. Extra blocks that are made are usually donated to the guild’s Silent Auction. Guild members may join the group at any time. Patterns and instructions are usually provided at the meeting, and meeting dates are posted in the monthly newsletter.

It is so much fun to see the blocks you receive in return, and even more fun to see the variety of settings that are produced from the same blocks.
