On a January morning in 1985…

a handful of dedicated quilters met to plant the seed for the formation of what is now the Bay Area Quilt Guild. Today we are dedicated to sharing the knowledge and love of quilting, promoting interest and understanding of quilting in the community, and learning more about the quilting tradition.

Meetings have a program covering a variety of quilt related subjects for inspiration and education. We have nationally and locally known speakers, regular workshops, and annual retreats.
